RESPECT THE BEEF

SUSTAINABILITY STARTS WITH YOU

We raise 100% grass fed and finished beef, utilizing regenerative agriculture methods to enhance our soils and our pastures.

Beef Belongs. Cows and cattle are NOT the enemy. Contrary to many misguided misconceptions grazing cattle actually help the environment, enrich the soils and preserve and protect waterways, grasslands and forestry.

Respect the Beef Podcast

We started this podcast to provide an outlet and an information source for anyone interested in beginning to look at regenerative agriculture and the part livestock plays in the success of cultivating healthy soils and whether they be a hobby farmer and homesteader or a local food producer. A journey to support the LOCAL food movement, focusing on grass fed beef, pasture raised livestock, regenerative agriculture and sustainable ranching and how this is THE BEST for both our health and the environment.

Episode 5: Regeneration Canada PART ONE

A great discussion with Antonius Petro, a Co-Director of Regeneration Canada. There was so much information in our hour long chat that I just couldn't edit it down to 30mins so I have split this one into TWO PARTS!

Regeneration Canada is a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting soil regeneration in order to mitigate climate change, restore biodiversity, improve water cycles, and support a healthy food system. They strive towards this goal by creating spaces for farmers, landowners, scientists, agronomists, businesses, community organizations, governments, and citizens to learn, connect and take action to regenerate soils. https://regenerationcanada.org/
